A lovely white washed oak floor fitted today after a day of prep yesterday. We removed the carpet and tiles from the hall and kitchen and laid this. So much better. Another happy customer 👍🏻

Bit of a different one today. We had to remove the bottom newel post of this staircase and fit a new one a bit further up to make more room when the front door is opened. Bit of a fiddly one but got there and made the room that’s needed. New tiles being laid next week.

So, I took this staircase on after another so called tradesman started it , nearly finished it, but to a very poor standard. The client asked for oak stair parts, the other tradesman fitted plywood and softwood stair parts and then stained them in oak! It was a right mess, so we ripped it all out and started again. I love the effect the twist newel posts have, it really is a wow factor as you walk in to the house. All strings, treads and risers were cladded in oak giving it that solid oak staircase feel. All treated with 2 x coats danish oil.

Just finished this stunning 4 bed HMO in Derby. I took this job on after the original builders made a complete mess of the first fix and my client had lost confidence in them. We ripped out a lot of the first fix and put everything right , got my pal Adams Plastering LTD who boarded and skimmed the whole job to a perfect standard as always.
